Don't stress over the looming temperature drop! Dr. Pickle has a sure-fire way to keep your family warm all winter long. Hot Sliced Cherry Peppers are the star of this week's recipe.
- 16oz Dr. Pickle's Hot Cherry Peppers
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (14.5oz) stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (15oz) can tomato sauce
- Chili powder to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can read beans
NOTE: To turn up the heat, add 4oz of Dr. Pickle Hot Pepper Relish
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef and onions and saute until meat is browned and onions are tender.
Add the stewed tomatoes and sauce, cherry peppers and seasonings.
Stir continuously and bring to a boil. Once boiling let the chili simmer for 15 minutes before serving.
Pairs wonderfully with fresh baked corn bread for a wholesome, warm dinner.
